Translational research to transformative research, UNSW

On 29th Nov IIP has attended the lecture held by Dr Abdul Ghaffar “Why systems research is more relevant than ever” from the UN WHO at UNSW. He explained extensively how the research stream should look like in the upcoming shift of our thinking. He pointed that these days there is no “single hero” pattern of doing the research !!
He also outlined that policy set by the law-makers shall not be evidence-based but evidence-informed.
Summed up saying that: “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit”.
